 The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), is investing $98.9 million in grant funding to 59 returning Navigator organizations for the 2023 Open Enrollment Period to help consumers navigate enrollment through the Marketplace, Medicaid, and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

Three years after it began piloting a primary care service for its employees that blended telehealth and in-person medical services, Amazon plans to cease operations of its Amazon Care service.

The opportunities to use RPM within VA are abundant. They include expanding preventative measures to reduce hospital admissions and improving quality of life for Veterans.  With a goal to implement a high level of RPM nationally, VA needed someone with clinical and innovation experience to lead this initiative. To fulfill this role, Dr. Lindsay Riegler was selected for the Entrepreneurship in Residence Fellowship in 2021.

After settling in rural New Mexico, a cancer patient had to move 750 miles east and live in a trailer to access CAR-T treatment at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. Suzanne BeHanna initially turned down an experimental but potentially lifesaving cancer treatment.
