The following protocols are just example of protocols in use within AviTracks. They are designed for informational purposes only. Any implementation of these protocols need to be reviewed and approved by the patients' rheumatologist.
AURANOFIN
- Bi-weekly monitoring of CBCPD, CREAT, Urine Analysis for a month.
AZATHIOPRINE
- Bi-Weekly monitoring of CBCPD, CREAT, LIVER for a month then switch to
- Monthly monitoring of CBCPD, CREAT, LIVER for six months then switch to
- Monitor labs every two months while on the medication.
CHLORAMBUCIL
- Bi-weekly monitoring of CBCPD, CREAT for six week then
- Monitor same labs every 6 weeks while on the medication.
CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE PO (Cytoxan)
- Monitor every two weeks for three months. Tests: CBCPD, CREAT, Urine Analysis. Add Cytology every six months while on medication as well then.
- Monitor monthly labs while on the medication. Tests: CBCPD, CREAT, Urine Analysis
CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE Infusion
- Monitor every two weeks while on the medication. Tests: CBCPD, CREAT, Urine Analysis. Add Cytology every six months while on medication.
- Monitor labs 5 days before infusion and 10 days after infusion.
CYCLOSPORINE MODIFIED
- Bi-weekly montoring of CBCPD, CREAT, URIC for 3 months.
- Monthly monitoring of CBCPD, CREAT every month while taking the medication.
LEFLUNOMIDE
- Bi-weekly monitoring of CBCPD, CREAT, LIVER for six weeks.
- Montly monitoring of CBCPD, CREAT, LIVER for six months.
- Every 2 month while on the medications (test: CBCPD, CREAT, LIVER)
METHOTREXATE
- 11 days before initial dose. Tests: CBCPD, LIVER, CREAT.
- 4 days aftern intial dose. Tests: CBCPD, LIVER, CREAT.
- Monitor monthly for six (6) months. Tests: CBCPD, LIVER, CREAT.
- Monitor every 6 weeks while on the medication. Test: CBCPD, LIVER, CREAT.
MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL (CellCept)
- Monitor every two weeks for a month. Tests: CBCPD, LIVER, CREAT.
- Monitor monthly for six months. Tests: CBCPD, LIVER, CREAT.
- Monitor every 2 months while on the medication. Tests: CBCPD, LIVER, CREAT.
PENICILLAMINE
- Monitor every two weeks for a month. Tests: CBCPD, CREAT, Urine Analysis.
- Monitor every two months while on the medication. Tests: CBCPD, CREAT, Urine Analysis.
SULFASALAZINE
- Bi-Weekly monitoring for a month. Tests: CBCPD, CREAT, LIVER.
- Monthly monitoring for six months. Tests: CBCPD, CREAT, LIVER.
- Labs with every return visit while on the medication. Tests: CBCPD, CREAT, LIVER.
TOCILIZUMAB
- One time lab test for: CBCPD, CHD HBCAB, HBSAG, LIVER, QFTB. Then monthly monitoring for six months (tests: CBCPD, CHD, LIVER) and Yearly QFTB while on the medication.
- Every two month test (CBCPD, CHD, LIVER) while on the medication.
